Free Children's Vaccination

K'Cho Catholic Community Services( CCC )

As the CCC sets up its first project since the start of community services and working on it. Now the time has come for Children's Vaccination again. About 50 children are given vaccination on 15th March, 2009 and they are the children and the students from K'Cho Catholic Community ( CCC ), Dai Community in Malaysia ( DCM ) and Mattu Social Organization ( MZO ). Thanks God!

How becomes this project?

The CCC is not the one which collects community member fee. All our services is based on Charity as well as the CCC does not build fund for this. However, God knows our needs. God is with us. I am sure this is God's plan, not our community plan. We, the CCC committee made request for Children's Vaccination to Catholic Doctors Association of Malaysia ( CDAM ) 6 months ago. Fortunately, the CDAM accepted our request and has become this project. This vaccination is provided by PIHD , Church of Sacred Heart, JLN PEEL, CHERAS and Catholic Doctors Association of Malaysia ( CDAM ) and organized by K'Cho Catholic Community ( CCC ). All the process was done in the Prish Hall with the help of our prish priest, Fr.Christopher.

Why does the CCC plan Children's Vaccination ?

Most of the children born in Chin State, Myanmar do not have completed vaccination. Some do not have any injection for vaccination due to the lack of knowledge of the value of child's vaccination, how important vaccination is. In Chin State, Health Education is not provided properly to our K'Cho people as well as other chins. For this reason, most chin people do not understand the importance of child's vaccination. We, the CCC committee, therefore, puts Children's Vaccination as one of our Healthcare projects.
